about
We are what we do. Funny name but it kind of does what it says on the tin. We are a new kind of movement. One that believes in the power of individual action. Or that we are what we do, if you prefer.

Some people watch trains. We count actions. Have done for years. Not because we're dappy and a bit off our onion. But because we believe that small actions x lots of people = big change. That was the hunch. So we set about proving it.

Last year we made a simple bag to
influence how people shop. Our 'I'm NOT a Plastic Bag' not only sold out. It created national hysteria and people started declining plastic bags.

Previously, we wrote a book to influence how people behave. Our 'Change the World for a Fiver' sold a million copies, launched a million actions and people started being nicer to one another.

The punchline seemed to be this. Find a simple action, times it by a lot of people, and you can create shifts bigger than you had ever imagined.

Which got us to thinking...We have the million people.

Now where to find this mythic, simple action around which we could unite them? Where could the next generation of Change the World ideas - those small actions that have a positive impact on communities, families, the environment and the world at large - be hiding? How best can we bring together the brightest and bravest, brilliant and bonkers candidates. And who, oh who never seems to be short of creativity and a smart answer?

We were very much hoping it was you.
