Gardening is a bit like being God. Creating living things with our own hands. Forming lakes (with watering cans) and mountains (with spades). Wiping out populations of leaf-eating snails. You feel pretty powerful, however old you are.

    In the school garden we are currently growing potatoes, tomatoes and lettuce as well as lots of plants to attract the wildlife, all planted by the children 19 June 2010, 14:42

    growing a little changes a lot

    tomatoes

    i tried to grow tomatoes in my garden with chanelle, a little girl who lives across the road from, but unfortunately they did not look anything like tomatoes, i do not know where we went wrong 15 February 2010, 21:14
