How about getting your school to join the We Are What We Do movement and change the world from your classroom?
Using the We Are What We Do at School section of our website, you can cover a whole load of curriculum topics and skills, from developing personal learning and thinking skills, to getting your students musing about sustainable development and community wellbeing. You can prep for geography, citizenship, English... You name it, we've got it covered.
You could also get them working in groups to track actions, or encourage them to be the next Picaso or Speilberg by making posters, films, and other campaign materials to inspire others.
We bet your students will love being shown they have the power to change the world.
1. Learn about We Are What We Do: Discuss with your students how they feel about sustainability and social issues, and how people tackle them. Then, use this clip to introduce the idea that Small Actions x Lots of People = Big Change. You could also consider the impact of a brand, rather than a charity, on changing behaviour.
2. Explore and track the actions: Have a look at a range of actions and find out which your students prefer and why. Which do they think will create the most change? Use the facts and stats and links to find out more about the actions, their impact, and how they can be implemented. Choose some actions and then use the action tracker to record how they get on and watch the totaliser go up to see the impact they're having. You can also ask them to post comments, photos and videos. To start tracking actions register first.
3. Create a group: You can track actions as groups of individuals by setting up a group and asking your students to register and then join. If you prefer not to ask your students to register, you can set up a class and track actions on their behalf. You might like to set targets for how many actions you'll do per term.

4. Create stuff: Once you've chosen actions, students can create materials to inspire their friends and family to do them too. There's a whole range of supporting resources for creating materials, with videos, tips, logos, artwork and templates.

5. Launch a campaign: You can use our campaign planner with your students to spread the word to the rest of your school and local community. The campaign planner takes you through our 5 simple steps to planning a campaign. Campaigns can be run in a particular subject area or as a cross-curricular day.
