Nifty internetty stuffT'internet. It may just be us, but we really think it's going to catch on. Aside from carrier pigeons, there's no better way to contact loads of people, share information and find like-minded types.
You're on it now aren't you? So go off and do some online campaigning.
...before you go, have a read of our five tips on using the net to campaign:
1. Find some ace info. On this site there are loads of facts and stats and useful links next to each of the actions. Explore all these as well as the usual suspects.
2. Spread the word. Use the net to tell the world what actions you're doing, publicise events you've organised and spread the We Are What We Do message. Whether it's on your school website, twitter, facebook, bebo, via emails, blogs, or RSS feeds there's practically an infinite number of ways to get heard.
3. Gang up. Set up groups. You can do this on our site as well as sites like facebook and bebo. When your friends see you join up, they might want to join the gang too. This online campaign shows what can be done when lots of people get together.
4. Show off. Youtube, MySpace, Flickr, Vimeo are great places to get millions of people looking at the stuff you've created
5. Collaborate. The web can be a great place for people with different skills to come together and solve problems, like what to do about non-recyclable paper cups, or to create something cool like a massive soccer chain.
